Hi, my name is Mauricio, and I welcome you to my classes in Havana!
I graduated from the Institute of Engineers of the Maritime Fleet in Odessa, Ukraine with a degree in Russian Language and Literature. Additionally I hold a second degree in English Language and Literature from the Faculty of Languages at the University of Havana.
As a full time freelance language teacher, over the last 14 years I have helped dozens of students to fulfill their goals of learning and improving their Spanish language skills through private and “small group” classes.
Several trips to Europe between 1990 and 2007 allowed me to add the German and Italian languages to my repertoire. As a German teacher I am proud to have helped many students pass the language proficiency test at the German embassy in Havana.
But I am not alone in this venture. With the winds of change blowing over Havana, several highly experienced colleagues of mine have decided to join me in helping people learn Spanish while on holidays in Cuba through Spakada.
